Sophia Simecka

Hi! I’m a marketing manager for Corbion SFS and part of the awesome Marketing Communications team. I enjoy working in marketing for Corbion because I can combine my food/bakery science background with my passion for creativity and storytelling. When I’m not working, you’ll find me chasing around my rambunctious preschooler, diving into all genres of podcasts or listening to country music. You also should know, I love baking for friends and family (who can resist the smell of fresh cookies?), and I’ve got that typical Midwestern habit of topping off lunch with chocolate or something sweet. Yum!

Here at Corbion, I'm part of the fantastic Digital Marketing team, where I work as a marketing specialist. I initially joined Corbion as an intern, and the last three years have been an incredibly rewarding journey. One of my favorite parts of this journey has been getting to know the diverse and talented individuals and groups within the company. Outside the office, I’m an avid sports fan and still have a soft spot for baseball – and I enjoy playing on weekends to keep the spirit of my college baseball days alive.  I can't wait to join some of my amazing coworkers on this podcast as it’s the perfect opportunity to connect and engage in enlightening conversations about work, life, and everything in between.
